Clarinet lessons for adults are very popular
It’s never too late to start learning. For some it is fulfilling a long-held ambition. For others, it is the desire to dust off a much-loved instrument or revive a childhood interest.
A number of my pupils are adults. Some have recently decided that they want to learn to play, some have learnt in the past and now want to pick it up again.
Most of the adults I teach simply wish play for pleasure, some belong to local bands and lessons can include looking at the parts, a few choose to prepare for exams. Whatever your reason, you will find that good professional tuition will help you make good progress. Although weekly lessons are the norm I am very happy to agree a pattern of lessons that suits your requirements.
Whether you are just starting out or looking for a new instrument, buying a clarinet is a big decision. So I am can also provide advice to help you make the right choice.

Learning to teach the clarinet to others

Whether you are intending to pursue a career in music, are currently working as a professional and wish to broaden your qualifications, or are purely after the satisfaction of achieving a personal goal, you will find a diploma for you.
I offer tuition for anyone who is intending to take up, or has already embarked on, teaching clarinet to others including preparation for the ABRSM Diplomas. Preparation for these exams requires extensive work between lessons. I am willing to mark sample papers to help you prepare and a separate charge is made for this work.
