Qualified music teacher

Sue Civval studied clarinet at The Royal Academy of Music under John Davies where she achieved the following qualifications: ARCM (Teachers), LRAM (Teachers), GRSM. Over the years she has played in many orchestras and chamber groups and performed in solo recitals.

Extensive teaching experience at all levels

Sue has extensive experience of teaching clarinet at all levels from young beginners up to diploma level both privately and in schools including: South Hampstead High School for Girls, Wycombe Abbey, Queenswood School, Watford Grammar School for Girls and Berkhamsted School.

Additional possibilities

Sue studied the piano as a second instrument at the Royal Academy of Music under Lois Philips so she provides piano accompaniment to enrich lessons. She also teaches Theory to help students progress through their exams.
